To make nano-carbon fiber composite materials, firstly, the nano-carbon fiber is pressed into a reinforcing material embryo body similar to the shape of the product. The embryo body can generally be wound with fiber cloth, fiber tape, fiber strip, or chopped fiber molding or Sprayed into the form of cloth laminate and carbon felt. After winding, start molding, control the temperature, pressure, time and other factors to make the product shape. This process is not particularly complicated, but there are many points to pay attention to, let's talk about it below.


1. Carbon nanofibers are fragile and easy to fold. When preparing the embryo body, soft and bendable carbon nanofibers, such as pre-oxidized PAN fibers, are used. Because it has undergone sufficient stabilization and heat treatment, it has strong operability. The pre-oxidized PAN fiber is of polymer nature and can be processed with ordinary textile equipment. In addition, after the subsequent process, this type of fiber is easy to graphitize.

  

2. High modulus nano carbon fiber with untreated surface should be used. After the surface treatment of the carbon nanofibers, the surface activity will be removed after being subjected to a high temperature above 1000°C. During the carbonization process, cracks are also likely to occur.


3. The high modulus carbon nanofiber has a very large meridional expansion rate in the carbonized stone, and voids will be formed after cooling, so it is carbonized after the second resin impregnation.


4. When manufacturing seamless carbon nano-fiber composite materials, the embryo should be larger to make it easier to cut.


In addition to the above points, there are some points to pay attention to. If you want to knit a three-dimensional preform, you can choose a professional knitting machine. In addition, the preform of the nano-carbon fiber composite material must be compression molded, which can increase the fiber content of the composite material and reduce the cracks generated during the production process.
